Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a single-player auto-shooter that answers the genre complaint of passivity by making terrain destructible: the ore you mine funds the shop between stages, so movement is a constant trade between safety and income. Five classes with three class mods each give fifteen genuinely different starts, and overclocks at weapon levels 6, 12 and 18 mean the build comes together at fixed points rather than randomly. Mining is the mechanic
the ore you dig pays for the between-stage shop, which makes position an economic decision rather than only a defensive one.
Five classes, fifteen loadouts
Scout, Gunner, Engineer, Driller and Demolisher, each with three class mods that change the starting weapon and what the class is allowed to equip.
Overclocks at fixed breakpoints
weapon levels 6, 12 and 18, so anything that levels weapons faster compounds for the rest of the dive.
Three progression tracks
player rank opens classes, class rank opens class mods, and Biome Points open hazard levels. They advance separately.
Full Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Korean
unusual for the genre, and it matters if English is not your first language.
Honest caveats
the unlock treadmill outlasts the moment-to-moment fun, and 86 percent positive on Steam is good but noticeably below the parent game.
