That the four victory conditions are deliberately unequal. Kingslayer, Spirit Stone and Rot all require reaching the King and doing something, while Prestige simply collects when somebody else fails — it wins both when the King dies of the Rot on his own and when a rival kills him but dies in the battle. Since attacking the King strips almost all of your Prestige, the obvious route is also the expensive one.

In the burn phase, before any dice are rolled. You may burn as many cards from your hand as you like, and each one forces a die to show that card's symbol. Fight only sets how many dice you get, so a hero with 4 Fight and a full hand beats one with 5 Fight and nothing to burn. Ambushed heroes cannot burn at all, which is what makes ambush decisive.

Not on the stat line. Every hero in the game distributes exactly sixteen points across Fight, Body, Wits and Spirit, so a high Fight is always paid for elsewhere. The real differences sit outside that budget — starting Gold runs from 3 to 8, day or night affinity is fixed, and hero abilities are not priced against each other.

Yes, at interface, full audio and subtitle level, as do Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese. Thirteen languages with full voice acting is unusual for a studio of this size.
