FAQ

FAQ

A hugely ambitious city and nation builder from solo developer Gamatron. You grow a small village into a metropolis of tens or even hundreds of thousands of individually simulated citizens from multiple races, each with their own needs and aptitudes. You manage food, production, workforce, happiness and services, then expand onto a world map for diplomacy, armies and massive real-time battles. It fuses deep city building with grand strategy at an extraordinary scale.
If you love deep city builders and colony sims and can look past minimalist visuals and Early Access rough edges, absolutely — it holds a Very Positive rating on Steam, offers staggering scale and depth, and is remarkably cheap for what it delivers. If you need polished graphics, a gentle learning curve or a fully finished game, be cautious, as it is still in development and visually spartan.
An enormous number — the game is built around simulating tens of thousands, and with a strong economy players push into the hundreds of thousands of individually simulated citizens and slaves. Each has needs and a job, and keeping a population that large fed, housed, employed and content is the central challenge. That scale, with every citizen simulated rather than abstracted, is a huge part of what makes it special.
Yes, it has a steep learning curve. Many interlocking systems — food, races, production chains, workforce, happiness, services and eventually the world map and war — combine with a dense interface, and new players commonly struggle with food shortages and morale early on. It is very rewarding once it clicks, but expect to start small, make mistakes, and lean on a beginner guide and the tutorial first.
It is in Early Access, developed by one person over years, and while very content-rich it is still being expanded, so some systems are incomplete or evolving. On language, the Steam store lists English and Simplified Chinese only, with no official Japanese or Korean localization, and it is fairly text-heavy, so Japanese and other players should weigh the language barrier before buying.
